IMPORTANT TECH BULLETINS!
Issue: Does not support Motion Detect on NVR / XVR series
- This IP camera when connected to NVR / XVR series will not support Motion Detect feature. This IP camera adds to NVR / XVR by ONVIF protocol and this protocol is not supporting Motion Detect but will record if left in the record always mode or the default mode set by NVR / XVR.
Issue: Default passcode changed from 123456 to admin
- The above model IP cameras from ZM1647 and higher now have their default passcode set to admin. See product silver label to confirm ZM number. So, default user: admin default passcode: admin. This change was made to address future integration needs.
- When this IP cameras is attached to a V2 series ZUUM DVR by UPnP the camera will show in the IP Channel Management list with passcode error. Just click on edit by this camera. Change passcode to admin and click detect. This will update passcode and allow video to stream to DVR.
Issue: Default bit rate may need to be changed on XVR series
- When adding this IPC to the LS series XVR you want to make sure first to log onto IPC and make sure main stream bit rate is lower than 6000Kb/s. The LS series XVR specs do not support bit rates higher than that.
Issue: IPC looses connection on NVR on some networks over time
- When connecting this IPC to the LS series NVR once its added go to registration and modify
IPC. Make sure RTSP Port is set to Customized and port 554. Because this camera adds to NVR by ONVIF in some network situations over time camera video could be lost.
