IMPORTANT TECH BULLETINS!

NOTE: Installation Limitation

- IP1 is a passive device so there is a transformer inside only, like a CCTV balun.

It mixes the four conductors of CAT5e cable ( TX+, TX-, RX+, RX- ) to one coaxial cable (copper wire and copper mesh total of two conductors)

In good condition all sets of IP1 and cameras are online normally, the quantity limitation depends on the bandwidth of Ethernet.

You could use 2, 4, 8, or more IP1 without any problems.

But if any of the camera sites is missing or disconnected, the four signals ( TX+, TX-, RX+, RX- ) may return to the Ethernet switch and cause a loop (broadcasting storm)

You can fix the problem by removing the IP1 from the Ethernet switch until camera issue is resolved. If your budget allows please use Model:IP9CK
